Hello! We’re Bash & JK (also known as Peter & Josh) and we’re the clubs new Social Secretaries!
Our Job is to try to make sure that you guys not only have a good time on the pitch but also a great time off the pitch! Throughout the season, we’ll be organising a number of social events for you to enjoy. Make sure you check back to this page regularly to see what’s happening!

 

Upcoming Croydon Social evenings…

We’re hoping to end the season on a high note, results-on-the-pitch wise as well as numbers attending socials (we got the idea that a Friday for a Xmas party was not the most popular change!), so for your February, March and April calendars, please save:

28th February – Bingo night
28th March – The Big Quiz
25th April – Dinner Dance at Shirley Golf Club

Of course the season finale Unders v Overs games are on the 18th April – can’t wait!

Christmas Swap Shop Saturday 24th January

This fab evening was so enjoyed last year we’re doing it again! Bring your unwanted/leftover pressies of any form (choccies, wine, too many socks, smelly bath things, books etc etc), have them tagged when you come in, and then take a lucky dip later! From 8pm at the Wallington Clubhouse, Hillside Gardens, SM6 9NX. Bring everyone you know!

Fun Day at Wallington Club Monday 26 May

Wallington Sports Club are hosting a Fun Day at their clubhouse in Hillside Gardens, Wallington. Weather permitting, there’ll be games like Quick cricket, a family Rounders competition, Pool competition (£2 to enter, win a cue!), darts competition, face painting for the children, a BBQ etc. The bar will be open from 11am, please invite all family and friends (they are signing up new members!).

All proceeds will be going to St Georges Cardiac Unit – hope to see some of you there! Please could you drop us a mail if you are planning to go (Tyrone and Jen Milligan: jtmilligan@blueyonder.co.uk) in case Wallington ask for an idea of numbers possibly attending, many thanks. Ladies 12 noon start (meet 11.15am)

Men 1.30pm start but please come and support the Ladies for their game.

There are only 10 tickets left for the big event of the year on April 19th. Please let your Captain or Hannah know if you would like one. Only £30 to include 3 course meal and Foz’s live band.

Dress code – Black Tie/Lounge suits

Start – 6.30pm for a 7pm sit down to Dinner.

Carriages – 1am

 Vegetarians/Gluten free etc – make sure you have told Hannah
