!!! CHRISTMAS PARTY !!!

The hockey season is coming to a close for the Christmas break… But never fear, we are having a Christmas party at the clubhouse to celebrate/ reminisce on this half of the season.
It’s a good chance to have a few bevvies and a catch up with the other members of the club (as well as bully injury-prone captains)!
 
There will be nibbles, music (sorry Corny, no Drum ‘N’ Bass, maybe the next social) and a raffle with an array of fabulous prizes for you to enjoy!
 
It’s £2 entry, with access to all VIP areas and a free ticket for the raffle on entrance!
 
Please feel free to bring family and your loved ones, the more the merrier!
 
The social will be in the evening on Saturday 12th December From 7.30pm onwards!!!

Hello! We’re Bash & JK (also known as Peter & Josh) and we’re the clubs new Social Secretaries!
Our Job is to try to make sure that you guys not only have a good time on the pitch but also a great time off the pitch! Throughout the season, we’ll be organising a number of social events for you to enjoy. Make sure you check back to this page regularly to see what’s happening!

We’re hoping to end the season on a high note, results-on-the-pitch wise as well as numbers attending socials (we got the idea that a Friday for a Xmas party was not the most popular change!), so for your February, March and April calendars, please save:

25th April – Dinner Dance at Shirley Golf Club

Of course the season finale Unders v Overs games are on the 18th April – can’t wait!

Christmas Swap Shop Saturday 24th January

This fab evening was so enjoyed last year we’re doing it again! Bring your unwanted/leftover pressies of any form (choccies, wine, too many socks, smelly bath things, books etc etc), have them tagged when you come in, and then take a lucky dip later! From 8pm at the Wallington Clubhouse, Hillside Gardens, SM6 9NX. Bring everyone you know!

Fun Day at Wallington Club Monday 26 May

Wallington Sports Club are hosting a Fun Day at their clubhouse in Hillside Gardens, Wallington. Weather permitting, there’ll be games like Quick cricket, a family Rounders competition, Pool competition (£2 to enter, win a cue!), darts competition, face painting for the children, a BBQ etc. The bar will be open from 11am, please invite all family and friends (they are signing up new members!).

All proceeds will be going to St Georges Cardiac Unit – hope to see some of you there! Please could you drop us a mail if you are planning to go (Tyrone and Jen Milligan: jtmilligan@blueyonder.co.uk) in case Wallington ask for an idea of numbers possibly attending, many thanks.
